Gelatissimo Greenbelt 5

After dinner, we passed by Gelatissimo and couldn't resist the temptation.  The place was packed and the line was long but it was worth it!  Based on their pricing: small ( 1 flavor at 110 php), medium (2 flavors at 160 php) and large (3 flavors at 190 php), we ordered 2 large cups because we could save more.

As usual, choosing the flavors are the toughest part.  There are so many flavors to choose from and they all look good!

For the first cup we chose: Kiwi Fruit, Coconut and Rockmelon.  Kiwi is one of my favorite fruits but it was a wrong decision since it was itchy to the throat that I did not enjoy eating it.  The coconut had short shreds of macapuno.  It was very delicious and refreshing.  The Rockmelon was fragrant and tasty.  My brother liked it.

The second cup was a better mix so it was devoured immediately.  The flavors were Green Apple, Pistacio and Lemon Cheesecake.   Every flavor was delightful.

Overall, the pricing was reasonable.  The gelato had a nice creamy texture.  The flavors were not too sweet.  It was flavorful and delicious!  We would definitely go back again.  Although it would be better if area was bigger because it was small and always full.

Cara mia Gelateria at Robinson's Midtown

Gelato means frozen.  Since two years ago, gelatos have become popular that they can be purchased in any mall.  It is said to be healthier than ice cream because it is made with more milk and lesser fat.

      One of our favorite dessert place is Caramia.  Caramia means "my dear" in Italian.  It is part of the Amici chain of resturants selling gelato, affogato, gelato shakes and gelato cakes.We often purchase their gelato cakes during special occasion.

Coconut Sorbetto

After our dinner, my mom had a craving for Caramia's gelato.  Each scoop cost only 70 php.  We ordered Pistacio Gelato, Coconut Sorbetto, Sans Rival, Nocciola (Hazelnut) and Strawberry Supreme.  The best was the Pistacio Gelato but the Coconut Sorbetto was light and refreshing too.  The Strawberry Supreme was also good.  The Sans Rival and Nocciola was too sweet for my taste and it became too tiring too eat after eating at least half of it.  How about you what's your favorite flavor?
