Entertainment News: James Durbin Voted Off American Idol Season 10

We were all shocked and disappointed as we watched American Idol host reveal that James Durbin (age: 22) was the one to be voted off leaving Lauren Alaina (age: 16), Scotty McCreery (age: 17), and Haley Reinhart (age: 20).  

James Durbin is a good performer.  He really rocks the stages whenever he performs.  We always saw him as the potential winner.  Although all the contestants are good, James has always managed to stand out. 

We were all surprised because he was never in the Bottom 3 and yet he was the one to be eliminated.  He has always been praised by the judges.  However, the contest system is reliant on the votes so there is nothing we or James Durbin's fans can do about it.  Unless the system changes,  outcomes like this will be inevitable.
