MedChef - Celebrates its 1st Year Anniversary

Medchef celebrated its 1st year anniversary last July 27,2011.  Despite the bad weather, a lot of people still managed to get there.

While most kids grow up having a toy baking oven, Chef Hasset Go wasn't one of them when he was still 8 years he already knew how to bake his own cake being his mom's personal baking assistant. Growing up in Misamis Occidental he dreamed on becoming an artist as he showed great passion for drawing and painting, but an obstacle hindered him from attaining that dream so instead he took a course which was almost second nature to him, Baking.

He took a 3 month course at the Heny Sison Culinary School and upon finishing the course Chef Hasset Go worked different jobs to save up and establish his own pastry store. Partnered with his friend Jayson Paul Carlos a registered Medtech.  With their combined expertise. Chef Hasset Go's baking and styling and Jayson Paul Carlos medical background they create cakes not only sinfully beautiful and delicious but also health conscious, now isn't that what we want with our desserts?

The room was a little bit crowded so I couldn't take a steady shot,  For your viewing, I shot the cakes while they were on display instead.

      I recall the first time I tried their Charlie Chan Pasta.  It was on my birthday.  I had to attend my CPA review for the whole day but I had to eat pasta because of the Chinese superstition that it will grant long life.   It was actually pretty good.  Unlike the typical pasta, it had a strong spicy garlic taste with peanuts on it.  I had no idea that it was a big serving.  (Would've been just right if Kurt showed up)  I had a hard time finishing it. But I did!=)
